In this role, you will have an integral role in the Western Union sales organization. The face-to-face role with our agents and customers is the most important part of our overall strategy as we propel growth in a competitive business environment. We are a globally diverse company seeking an experienced sales professional in a key market.

Role Responsibilities

  • Responsible for revenue, transaction, and sales growth in assigned area.

  • Manage existing network relationships, with focus on business and operational support, to assure business continuity and growth of all network channels (strategic, independent, regional). It includes support and new agent activation sales, if required to meet business goals.

  • Meet or exceed transaction and revenue growth objectives in assigned area.

  • Account management within assigned area and consistent coverage of all assigned accounts.

  • Handle assigned special projects on a timely basis. Include sales blitzes, host Customer Appreciation Events at key high opportunity locations to drive incremental volume.

  • Build relationships with relevant grassroots and community organizations.

  • Monitor competition status like network expansion, price changes, commission, and incentive. adjustments and report the information through the appropriate channels.

  • Weekly business reports including sales activity, competitive activity, and area highlights are required.

  • Partner with Agents’ support areas (Collections, IT support, Credit, other) to resolve any issue that might potentially limit agents’ operation.

  • Must analyze, comprehend, and understand productivity reports is necessary.

  • Candidates must work within assigned expense budgets and file required reports.

Role Requirements

  • Business/Industry Experience Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably from the Money Transfer industry. Documented track record of meeting/exceeding sales quota.

  • School Diploma / bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

  • Communication Skills Fluency in English and second language often required (Spanish in most cases but may be other languages as well).

  • Must excel in a goal-driven and results-oriented environment.

  • A positive attitude, strong drive to succeed, determination, and persistence are necessary.

  • Must possess excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with internal/external stakeholders.

  • The candidate must possess high ethical business standards.

  • Sales professionals should possess a consultative sales approach.

  • Seeking a proven sales professional who can build and maintain sound business relationships.

  • Required to live within the assigned territory.

  • Overnight travel is occasionally required for this role.
