We are looking for Senior Associate, Solution Engineering who will work in partnership with other groups within the Western Union and our global partners. In this unique role, you be part of the team which will be responsible for building and maintaining our next-generation software. As a Senior Associate, you will be part of the team responsible for the implementation of a service delivery model supporting assigned platforms through a predefined framework.

Role Responsibilities

  • Understand the partner’s technology platform and engage throughout the Partner On-Boarding lifecycle right from Platform Intake to Production Launch.

  • Responsible for helping our partners integrate various products & services with the Western Union Money Transfer platform.

  • Work with product, compliance, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into partner guidance and repeatable practices.

  • Work with a software development team and service providers in a geographically distributed structure to provide solutions to the partners. Troubleshoot application/system issues and enable resolution with support teams, operations, functional, and engineering teams.

  • Identify opportunities to automate the testing activities. Develop automation framework and test suites that improve and optimize the time and efforts in integration.

  • Develop and implement testing and quality assurance artifacts for the certification process.

  • Ensure that software functionality is implemented according to the WU system specifications.

  • Perform technical review of partner project artifacts and guide team to fix any gaps.

  • Maintain effective communication with clients, business and partners as needed.

Role Requirements

  • To be successful in this role, you will need 7+ years of experience in Quality Engineering/Automation.

  • Experience in Agile and Iterative development methodologies.

  • Hands on experience of automation frameworks/tools and techniques for Web/Mobile/APIs.

  • Expertise in testing practices and techniques for Functional, Integration, Performance, Security, Regression & E2E Testing.

  • Hands on Experience with multiple development platforms and knowledge of J2EE, API (Rest, SOAP, Message-Driven), and Micro Services.

  • MUST have hands on experience in BDD CUCUMBER/Selenium/Appium/Karate tools.

  • Must have basic knowledge on AWS cloud infrastructure.

  • Experience with test management, and defect tracking systems (e.g. Jira, Zephyr, HP ALM).Works individually under minimal direction with strong work ethics.

  • Strong communication skills with ability to interact with partners globally.

  • Must be a problem solver with demonstrated experience in solving difficult technology challenges, with a can-do attitude.
