To help us continue expanding our offerings, we’re in search of an experienced product manager to lead a team of product owners and work side by side with a multidisciplinary development team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for gaps in consumer product offerings and an innovative mindset for filling them. This person should be a highly skilled at creating a multidimensional software with a proven ability to strategize the full lifecycle of a product, from conception to release. We’re looking for a confident leader who can guide cross-functional teams in the creation of products that improve customer experience.

Role Responsibilities

  • Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch

  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototyping and final development by engineering teams

  • Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI

  • Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and release of products, and balance resources to ensure success for the entire organization

Role Requirements

  • Relevant experience in complex retail/consumer financial services/payment services organizations with multiple financial products, or a regulatory agency or law firm involving payment services compliance issues relating to anti-money

  • Experience supporting product lifecycle

  • You will need to have a proven management/supervisory knowledge.

  • You must be a highly effective communicator orally and in writing with the ability to communicate across and up the organization.

  • Be able to prioritize and organize workflow to ensure effectiveness and efficiency and embrace change as necessary to drive business and achieve product goals and objectives.

  • Demonstrated critical and analytical thinking and detail oriented to drive Western Union growth.

  • Must comply with deadlines, show independence, pro-activeness, responsibility, sense of urgency and reliability to ensure the correct service and compliance within all Western Union organizations and partners.

  • Ability to manage projects and deadlines in accordance with team SLAs and demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, highly structured, deadline-driven culture based on lean management tools.

  • Proven track record of complex problem-solving and decision-making.

  • AML/CTF certifications and experience with agile working methodologies are desirable.

Salary

The monthly gross base salary range is 3250 – 6216 EUR. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies.
